Edgaras Utkus, Kevin Denkey, Olivier Deman, Jesper Daland and Dimitar Velkovski have joined their respective countries for the international break. While Utkus, Denkey and Velkovsky finish qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup, Deman and Daland will begin preparations for the 2023 U-21 European Championships. Find their fixture lists below:
Edgaras Utkus – Lithuania
Edgaras Utkus will play two World Cup qualifiers in the coming days. On Saturday the Lithuanian will take on Dimitar Velkovski's Bulgaria, while on Tuesday evening Lithuania will take on Switzerland.
Kevin Denkey – Togo
Striker Kevin Denkey will play for Togo, where he will take part n two World Cup qualifiers with the national team on Saturday and Tuesday. Both are against Congo: Saturday in Togo, and Tuesday in Brazzaville.
Olivier Deman – Belgium U-21
In preparation for EURO 2023, Olivier Deman was called up again by national coach Jacky Mathijsen for the Belgian team. Two home games against Kazakhstan (Friday) and Switzerland (Tuesday) are scheduled for the Belgians, who have already started the campaign with 6 points from 6 after victories against Turkey (1-3) and Kazakhstan (0-3).
Jesper Daland – Norway U-21
Like Olivier Deman, Jesper Daland will be in action for the next week and a half in qualifying matches for EURO 2023. Daland will take on Croatia on Friday with Norway, while Estonia awaits on Tuesday.
Dimitar Velkovski – Bulgaria
Dimitar Velkovski and Bulgaria will face a Lithuania side featuring Edgaras Utkus on Saturday as our left back plays with his country in World Cup qualifying over this international break. Next Tuesday, Bulgaria, currently 4th in Group C, will take on Northern Ireland.
